I may be busier than a one armed wall paper hanger, after the horrific winter storm that left us without power for 4 days, in weather we are not use to getting. Bust pipes and dead gardens. Well, that was just lovely Sarah. I particularly liked the ribbon leaves. Whenever I see something like that, I was end up thinking, who was the very first person to try that, and did they say, 'let's see what happens if I try this'. I've never been one of those people, not with embroidery anyway, just prefer to follow you. I really enjoyed that Sarah, thank you.

Silk ribbon embroidery seems to have orginated in the French Court and as silk was expensive it would make sense that it was the matieral of Kings and Queens! Glad you are enjoying SallyH!

When you did the ribbon flowers did you just tie a knot to attach it to the needle to start with? :)
