Very kind of you to say. We are big fans of the Insta 360onex2. We now have two as I use one on my helmet set to 150. They are just so much more reliable than Gopro. The Rode microphones allow us decent off bike audio and hopefully allow us to make more interesting vids which aren't just riding. Many thanks again for watching

Was a proper great experience, much less traffic in Madeira than we experienced today riding in the Peak District! Those two with the Fiat 500 😂 They took loads of photos posing. Probably for Instagram or they could be KZbinRS! More tunnels to come!

I've not shown that many of the tunnels, the island is a maze of them but the best roads are the original older roads following the side of the mountains. Yep the runway is another master civil engineering job. You realise this is a great holiday if one of you wants to ride and the partner enjoy the pool, spar and beach. I'm guessing you are one of the few to have made it to the end if you've seen the runway so really appreciate the watch. Cheers and best wishes from Richard and Carol

Thanks, always good to hear from you. Carol doesn't wear a camera on her helmet. We just get the joint audio using the Rode wireless Go2 audio system, great range between the bikes. Some vids on it back a few vids on the channel. Works better than a separate audio recorder and cable that we used to use. No faffing syncing her audio to mine as the Rode system combines our audio and feeds it onto the main camera audio feed (gopro or insta) making the final editing much easier. The Rode stuff isn't waterproof but filming in the rain is never great anyway.

Thanks, we loved the island and had a fantastic time. Its taken many failed experiments to get a system of filming and audio that works for us and doesn't interfere with the enjoyment of the holiday. Think we are just about there.

A couple of mates of mine went to Madeira a few years back, not realising they had gone in rainy season and were basically stuck in the hotel for the whole holiday as there were landslides everywhere! :D Incredible views of the mountains and forests. Yep on our first morning we thought we'd made a big mistake! That island is very green for a reason, the same one that requires water channels everywhere. 😳 Ha ha the tunnel innuendos...... just wait for the next vid. Yep a beautiful island to explore. Appreciate the watch Pete, suspect Madeira isn't on many folk's radar as far as motorcycle holidays considering view numbers, arr well 👍

@@HippoDrones Always appreciate your advice Pete. We know the tour explore vids never do well in views compared to one's featuring specific bikes. It's just a little frustrating when say a vid where someone starts a bike that took a couple of mins to film hits over 100,000 views then a project you put so much effort and time into just goes under the radar. Will have a play with the titles a bit, throw a bit of sexual innuendo into the next one 🤣🤣

She's young and fit 😉 she can take it. Many of the routes had been planned by Carol over last winter so she likes (I think) to navigate. The final day we accidentally ride on the steepest road I've ever ridden! (I may have been navigating this time!)

It was a great experience and we got really lucky with the weather. After a couple of days riding we were fine with riding on the right and doing roundabouts anti clockwise but it was strange then driving back in England. Even today on the bikes I was thinking left or right😬
