I met Ric Flair and his wife at the Atlanta airport in 2005. I had just purchased his autobiography at the airport book store . Such an absolute and complete gentleman. He was rolling his wife's luggage when I greeted him. He introduced me to her, I shook both their hands, and then he signed my book. So classy. I met Shawn Michaels 5 minutes before that - same thing, he introduced me to his wife and asked me if I was born again. Both guys were gentlemen.

I haven't laughed this hard at an episode in a while! He is an incredible story teller. His good times had me belly laughing and when he spoke about his son's death, the pain in his voice was heartbreaking. He's an insecure sad man, who's allowed those insecurities to break up the home he had with his kids. That saw him lose wife after wife, to become an alcoholic with no remorse. Who had to face financial ruination multiple times, despite earning enough to live multiple lifetimes..

Hearing one of my childhood icons address his health problems really does pull on my heart a lot. And Theo just laughing along making it a casual convo and comforting each other with stories of their families, it’s beautiful. I didn’t know that about Theos sister either.
