I get so burned out on listening to comedians talk about what it's like to hang out in an LA/NY/Austin green room. To be clear, I recognize they're comedians, and that's their life. I LOVE the "craft" discussions about writing but only when they're focused on creativity and pursuit of passion. Instant tune out for me when an anecdote starts with "we were at the bar and..."

Theo has had some guests lately who I think wouldn't be very compatible with him (John Mulaney, Neil Degrasse Tyson being a couple notable examples), but every time I'm surprised by how great their chemistry is. I love your thoughts on weekend church, Theo. I grew up in a relatively small town where church was the best place to celebrate community. And that sense of community is very grounding. Stand up comedy is also that feeling of community. Or a good football game, or standing in line with everyone to see a popcorn movie on opening day.
