Yeah for sure, he's still among the best players in Brazil squad, also he's the only one with experience from 2002 WC. Though he needs to get out of Real Madrid quick because hes just sitting there in the bench, and now that they have Modric, Kaka isnt needed at all and there is just no way he'll play over Ozil. He can do so much more in club like Tottenham and do his best in international matches.

LOL no way does footballers peak that late. Late boomers who never shined during their youth are the only exceptions. Kaka is a player that beats his defenders with pace, now he's lost most of his pace considering his injury deprived him of his athleticism, also he's 30. If you watch his Milan days from 2004-2007 to his current Madrid form, he's not the same. Henry declined after 2004(27 years old) and Ibra had a great season in Milan but as a player, he was best during Inter days of 2007-2009.

although kaka lost the ability to beat defenders with pace he still has the ability to control the game and create chances which is more valuable and he definatly deserves a spot on the Brazil roster for 2014

In my opinion: The main difference between Ozil and Kaka is Kaka puts the ball in the back of the net more often! And kaka’ with Real madrid, he doesn't start matches, that's why he can't play well, but with Brazil we see a different Kaka’!! I'm not saying that i'm smarter than mourinho but if am in his place i would start with Kaka’!!

As much as I love mourinho, I still cannot understand why Kaka does not start against attacking teams like Barcelona, Valencia, Bayern Munich... because he is a gifted playmaker for such games! Just watch the damage he does when he was given space against Millionarios, Ajax, Barcelona...his combination play with Ronaldo is perfect! But I do agree that he cannot create much impact against ultra defensive sides in La Liga, and Di Maria and Ozil should be used instead.

But yeah I agree, but the best decision for Kaka is to play for a team other than Real Madrid because of lack of playing time hes getting, hes wasting his career there considering Ozil and Modric are flourishing there. Man City, Tottenham or going back to Milan would be the best move, no need to move to Brazil because its a sub-par league.

Thats a given. Kaka is IMO the 3rd best player in the Brazil squad after Neymar and Hulk, he should easily be a starter, not some reserve. However, he'll never become a regular in Real ever again. Realistically speaking, they dont need a 30 year old player who is no longer world class considering they have Ozil who is among the best player at the CAM position. Not only that, with Modric's signing, he'll never start over them. His best bet is return to Milan or play in an EPL team.
