As a Ac Milan fan and even tho most of the people are saying that he was a flop for Madrid I strongly have to disagree, 29 goals, 39 assists, 68 contributions in 120 matches for a player who was most of the time injured and also not preferred by the manager I think is amazing. My favorite footballer of all time. He hardly moves sideways, or backwards, he just presses forward for the attack. "Deceptively" fast (just look at vids of him leaving defenders behind). I still have his white Milan Jersey, the black RM one, but the Milan gold, red & black went missing after i did my laundry in college. Idk man 2009-10 was a great year for him. He won confederations cup with brasil, won mvp, was the main man for south africa qualifiers. Even beat argentina with balon dor messi in buenos aires 1-3 in a crucial game. He was basically an undisputed starter for pellegrini when he was fit to play (over 30 appearances) and wore the #10 to south africa world cup. finished top 5 in the balon dor that year as well.
