@@boratwilson9916 honestly have been staying at a friend's who did most of the cooking so only got to use it a little here and there but as someone who Sikeston uses a Cajun seasoning in his cooking I've been happy so far and can't wait to use more extensively now that I'm back to being in my own place. I will say in my limited application that it is flavorful but has never overpowered the dish as some Cajun seasonings less well proportion might.

Lookin good! Made a chicken thigh / breast, sausage jambalaya few days ago in a soup pot on the stove, works just as good! I like doing chicken stock and crushed tomatoes for liquid. Gotta try that cream soup mix sometime. Even just got a big crop of hungarian wax peppers, maybe time to burn em!

My mom's side is Cajun but I grew up a yank so my cookings not always up to snuff but I'm making jambalaya for a pot luck tomorrow and was looking for a vid to help me keep the half remembered steps straight new I had found the perfect one when I heard him call himself a coujon😆 (Also my family are firm proponents of the best jambalaya is the one you prefer to make so him advocating for personalization definitely actually sealed the deal)

I actually might try to make this, everything he used is easily available on this side of the pond except for the rice (will have to use basmati) and the Cajun Two Step seasoning and gator drool. He said to season how you want so I’ll just use a bunch of spices, but I don’t know what to substitute that Gator Drool with, Franks Red Hot or Tabasco or what?

I always wonderd if that was possible..got try the rice cooker version and man I like the Cajun two step seasoning and I got another person who likes it and is going to buy some of it he was worried about the heat format the cayenne.cause he knows I like certain things I cook known as Louisiana cuisine to have cayenne pepper in it and he tasted the two step and liked it.
