Chris, good job, you make me hungry, one of these days try your dahl by adding 1 tbsp garam massala (Maywah brand) and 15 minutes before its done, put about 15 leaves of poi baajie, alternatively, 20 leaves of broad spinach to boil in the dahl. With that Baajie and that wiri wiri pepper, and that roasted geera, you will be the best. Good cooking. Ranie.

Chris I love Dahl. I usually put smoked turkey in it though. Like you I was taught to wash my meats and rice and pick my peas and wash them also. I have made curry or stew chicken and meats before but never curry stew. I shall certainly try it now that I know how. Thank you so much 😀

I miss it so much. i used to prepare it all the time when i was a teenager .
