I always add a little tomato or ketchup to my curry. It really brings out the flavor of the curry especially when you are using a cheaper brand. I've never made curry chicken with pigeon peas, but it sounds good. I plan on trying this recipe.

I really want to know the texture of pigeon peas. Are they like green lima beans? Stiff skins and dry mush inside? I've had them plenty of times and can not aquire a liking to them. The only lima I can tolerate is baby white with smoked hock and sweet onion,then I have to chunk some cheddar into a bowl and pour the hot beans on top.

The videos are definitely not too long for my taste, I don't know any cooking/recipe channel that has ridiculously slow vids. The ones there are miss a part of the cooking process necessary.
