No need to mix after freezing. I made a quick and easy rich and creamy matcha ice cream. The recipe and ingredients are simple, and since I used whole eggs, there's no leftover egg whites. My daughter, who loves matcha ice cream, was also pleased with the taste. Please enjoy it as a snack or after-meal treat.
Recipe (Makes 1200ml)
Ingredients:
15g matcha powder
80g sugar
90ml milk
3 eggs
200ml fresh cream (high fat content recommended)
How to make
1.Mix 15g matcha powder and 80g sugar.
2.Heat 90ml milk in a 600w microwave for 1 minute to warm.
3.Add about half of the milk mixture from (2) to (1) and stir.Once mostly mixed, add the remaining milk and dissolve the matcha.If it is still warm, set aside to cool.
4.Beat 3 eggs with a hand mixer for about 3 minutes. Beat on low speed for the last minute.
5.Change the blades of the hand mixer and whip 200ml of fresh cream.
6.Gradually add the chilled (3) to (5) and mix.
7.Add 1/3 of (6) to (4) and mix with the hand mixer.
8.Add all of (7) to bowl (4) and mix lightly with a spatula.
9.Pour the mixture into a freezer container and chill in the freezer.
10.Done. This dream recipe can mass-produce 1 liter of matcha ice cream, enough for about 11 mini cups of Häagen-Dazs.With this, I'm sure I'll be able to get through the hot summer.
