You hope You don't know where to go Construction every turn up on the road Live life thinkin' why it's goin' so slow Lookin' at the clock, wonderin' why my mama's not home You waited way too long You noticin' a pattern in your home Fuck all the good times, it's a past tense I sleep and wake up when the world ends Those memories, they so hard to forget Question every day, "Are we there yet?" [Pre-Chorus] Gone too far to change, time to get your rollerblades That smile is worth the wait, here comes better days [Chorus] All these thoughts I have in my head Got me blinded from the sunset I'm tryin' hard to stop the rain 'Cause smilin' doesn't feel the same I just called to tell you "Drive safe" Will I see you in the mornin'? 'Cause I just wanna feel your touch 'Cause I don't think I had enough [Verse 2] The smiles turn to frowns quick Need a break from night shifts That's where the hours pass too slow Leave no time to grow My favorite things, milk with cookies and cream I swear, where did the good times go? It don't show no more Polaroid photos looking like a movie scene (Ayy) Thank you for the memories, I don't know what it means (Ayy) It's broken, don't know how to fix it, I need a minute I'll never go away like a hiccup, I'm far from finished Just make me happy, girl, I need it, right now A couple laughs and then I'm out the picture, sun down This ain't the time to cry, we don't have much time [Pre-Chorus] Gone too far to change, time to get your rollerblades That smile is worth the wait, here comes better days [Chorus] All these thoughts I have in my head Got me blinded from the sunset I'm tryin' hard to stop the rain 'Cause smilin' doesn't feel the same I just called to tell you "Drive safe" Will I see you in the mornin'? this song touches me so deeply. about a year ago, me n this girl were having a long distance relationship. i was in dallas while she was in austin, so it wasnt too bad but most of our time was spent apart regardless. i worked out this process where i would go down to visit her for a weekend every now and then, and thats how we were able to spend our first nights together. those weekends were the best moments of my life since i got to spend them alone with a person i loved- what more could i ask for? going back home always left a deep hole in my gut, and we would both be on the verge of tears every time lol. the 3 hour bus ride back home was when the sadness really sank in. on the way home from the first time i visited, i was listening to this song while staring out the window like it was some kind of cliché music video haha. i was pretty sad, but the way my emotions mixed with this song kind of brought out the beauty of it to me and every time i listen to it now, it brings me back to that state of overwhelming emotion. its been six months since we broke up now. and yeah im over her but this song still has a really strong influence over how i feel.

This made me cry, I'm sorry Brian, why you gotta remind me of all the pain I've had.

Back when i was with my ex this was both our favorite song, we even went to a Rich Brian concert. Hearing him preform this was so magical. Eventually things started to go bad, and I guess she just lost interest. It's just so ironic how the song fit the scenario of the breakup :(

Matthew Lambert It hurts really bad, but over time it will slowly get better. I believe in you. For now you should distract yourself, focus on your friends and spend time with them.

It happens man, been there myself, unfortunate but we cant do anything about it, sometimes the spark isnt there for the other person , its better to move on you know. It gets better buddy i promise another girl is out there waiting for u to tap her on the shoulder and make her smile. 🙏💯

Feeling left out from the pack, you gotta go rogue Five years from now, will this even matter? You hope You don't know where to go Construction every turn up on the road Live life thinkin' why it's goin' so slow Lookin' at the clock, wonderin' why mama's not home You waited way too long You noticin' a pattern in your home Fuck all the good times, it's a past tense I sleep and wake up when the world ends Those memories, they so hard to forget Question every day, "Are we there yet?" Gone too far to change Time to get your rollerblades That smile is worth the wait Here comes better days All these thoughts I have in my head Got me blinded from the sunset I'm tryin' hard to stop the rain 'Cause smilin' doesn't feel the same I just called to tell you, "Drive safe" Will I see you in the mornin'? 'Cause I just wanna feel your touch 'Cause I don't think I had enough The smiles turn to frowns quick Need a quick break from night shifts That's where the hours pass too slow Leave no time to grow My favorite things Milk with cookies and cream I swear, where did the good times go? It don't show no more Polaroid photos looking like a movie scene (ayy) Thank you for the memories, I don't know what it means (ayy) It's broken, I don't know how to fix it, I need a minute I never go away like a hiccup, I'm far from finished Just made me happy, girl, I need it right now A couple laughs and then I'm out the picture, sun down This ain't the time to cry We don't have much time Gone too far to change Time to get your rollerblades That smile is worth the wait Here comes better days All these thoughts I have in my head Got me blinded from the sunset I'm tryin' hard to stop the rain 'Cause smilin' doesn't feel the same I just called to tell you, "Drive safe" Will I see you in the mornin'? 'Cause I just wanna feel your touch 'Cause I don't think I had enough

@@sasukefroupie Not sure but I think it's just about feeling good, or at least better than when you're sad, and the drive safe thing means don't take huge risks, don't put yourself in danger, don't do something stupid that might hurt you and just live your life safely and happily

This song is so rich in texture and amazing. Brian really inspires me and my best friend to create music. His song “Feelings” is heavily inspired by him. If just one of you checks it out and enjoys it, it would the mean the world to him. 🙏💜 kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5q6ZmBvntWhsKc
