If anyone thinks the NFL isn't going to give this superbowl to the Rams, you are mental. After the incredibly shady stuff they pulled to move the team, they won't allow the Bengals to win. Les Snead should have been fired for running the franchise into the ground.

QBs of Murry's stature and skill set GENERALLY degrade quickly. He is a smart kid to try and front load the big contract, as odds are against him having even a seven year career as a starter.

Sometimes you gotta wonder when has being an "NFL analyst" turned into the art of jumping into conclusions helplessly prematurely... Rich Eisen used to be different - he (and a couple of others) used to stand above the rest for the simple reason that he seemed to understand the concepts of perspective and time: looking at things in their context and not only living in the moment. Sadly, he seems to be in the process of forgetting these. The "old" Rich Eisen, for example, would have been up in arms against even entertaining the idea of making a QB the possible next Tom Brady after the first time said QM has ever made the playoffs - no matter how good said QB is (because Burrow does, indeed, look very good). Now he is doing it...

Yes... They both changed....they've become poster boys for speaking in terms of the audience in front of them rather than speaking their own mind. They have become politically correct on every issue.... unfortunately that is the norm these days. There's nothing wrong with nonconformity....at least people see you're real..... something nobody seems to be anymore.

I find it funny that the comment of Burrow catching Brady was even broached. The same thing happened when Mahomes won his first one. And we see what has happened since then. If history is anything to go by, what Brady has done is a once in a many generation accomplishment. It's silly to even bring up another QB coming close to what he's done.
@guybroyles48

I don't even see Bradys success as a once in x amount of time thing. I see it as like, an anomaly. It was an extremely rare talent combined with laser focus and work ethic that was in situations which provided the chance of success. 7 Super Bowl wins. I think that's one of those stats which we don't stop to think and put in perspective because we got to see it play out. I bet the average NFL player's career is half that, I'm sure it's less than 7 years. 14 years, for example, is a very long, super rare NFL QB career. It would require winning a Super Bowl half the years in the league. Even if a QB comes along whose talent level is far beyond anything we've seen, the odds of everything else that's required to win a Super Bowl falling into place 7 times during one player career are astronomical. I'm sure you're aware of all this. I ain't trying to be rude or come off like I'm talking down. I'm just sharing my opinion, not that anyone asked for it. 😂 I just love talking football.

@@Vic-Vega This is all subjective, so this is just my opinion, of course. I feel that's like comparing apples and oranges. Winning anything at the pro level isn't easy, but it requires many more pieces to fall into place to win a Super Bowl these days than it did to win an NBA championship back then. Sports analysts often mention that it was easier for the big franchises and schools with big programs to win back in the day, particularly at schools with the biggest football programs or NBA teams that snagged a dominate player. Their reasoning makes perfect sense when it's explained why they think that way. Again, that's just my take. I'm the first to admit I can be a dumbass sometimes, I'm just saying. 😂Judging by that name and pic, I bet we'd have some of the same opinions on movies though! My friends and I watched that and Pulp Fiction a thousand times back in the day.

You literally didn’t listen to a word. Burrow WILL be compared to him bc he won a SB in his second year, period, bc that’s exactly the same thing Brady did. That’s all he said. He NEVER said that Burrow WILL DEFINITELY pass Brady. Rich isn’t Nick Wright ffs lol. Also honestly the ONLY way this has a chance of being a legitimate question is IF the Bengals can upgrade BOTH SIDES OF THE TEAM for the next 15 years….which they don’t do. The Bengals aren’t going to win 6 SB’s in 15 year.

The NFL (Not For Long) will put Brady away much more quickly than you would think. Terry Bradshaw has 4 Superbowl's and he's kind of the punch line to a joke now. The NFL is more about the week to week present than any other league, as baseball is all about the past. Five years from now when X quarterback sets a passing record then the GOAT description will be dragged out for them, and Brady's records will be dismissed with a "It's a different league now." remark.
