Warren Sharp of SharpFootballAnalysis said that Geno over the last 2 years "has literally been the #2 most accurate QB in the league, based on cpoe and has the #1 lowest percentage of incompletions due to inaccurate passes". 1. 49ers - Even with the off-season drama, they still have arguably the best roster in the NFL (currently) 2. Rams- Like the Bucs to the Falcons, McVay's men will be heavy contenders for the division crown, my only push back is the interior defensive line replacing Donald is a tall order. 3. Seahawks - A solid team with a new defensive-minded regime it's gonna be intriguing to watch, but still some questions on defense. 4. Cardinals - They may have the weakest roster in the division but they have players that will make every game a must watch: Murray, Conner, Harrison Jr, McBride, Budda, and Zay.

Admittedly, I'm drinking the kool-aid up here in the Northwest as a Hawks fan. Still, it always makes me laugh when people give their predictions for them. NFC West in discussion for toughest division by end of the year. Feels like one of those years where the 49ers are injured all year and dont make it to the playoffs with that as the excuse. Rams not dropping off, AD was in decline last year and Jones isn’t the 2nd best defensive player PFF gave him a 71 grade which is slightly above average and the Rams actually have more talent on defense this but you just don’t know the players they got, the Secondary has been upgraded in free agency, Verse, Young, Turner and Fiske will make a impact and the Rams have the best quarterback and offensive line in the division and also we own the Seahawks Stafford is 4-0 against them 😂🤣

This division has got to be the most competitive in all the nfl. Idk any other division where there could legit be 4 teams competing for the #1 spot. I don’t think the cardinals have much of a chance, but every few years then have a good year. Seattle is a sleeper team in the nfc and I don’t think many teams realize it yet. Rams, who knows, most of their stars have retired or are aging but they have had a few good drafts and if those players can maintain the play they have been then they are definitely a contender. And the 49ers I think are a couple years away from collapsing. But they should still be good at least this year

@@Tina-esque no yeah. The rams just lost their best player and Stafford and kupp are both aging so they could drop off any year. 49ers are a mess of a franchise right now even with aiyuk resigning. Purdy is the worst qb in the division and their the only team who didn’t really add much in the offseason compared to what the other teams did. Seattle is either gonna have a really really good year, or a really really bad one. But McDonald is the best defensive coach in the nfl, they have the best db core in the division and Murphy already has Aaron’s Donald like projection. Cardinals are the only team who realistically won’t be competing for a playoff spot. However kyler Murray may be the best qb in the division when playing at his best, they just got the best receiver of the past few drafts, and if you’ve been paying attention as long as I have You’d know that the cardinals have a very distinct pattern of sucking for 2-3 years then having a good year then sucking for 2-3 years then have a good year. And based on the last couple seasons of sucking they are primed to have a good year either this or next. Sorry girl, but they all have valid arguments for how they could be the #1 in the division. Some more likely than others but everyone has a valid argument.

As a team, they’re still stacked so they didn’t need much to improve the team during off season. Even so, their secondary looks much improved and under new D coach. Their OL is the one question mark. And yet they’re still considered among the top contenders so they can’t be in that much of a mess as you state. Seattle may be able to challenge Rams for 2nd place but I still see Rams in the 2 spot in the end, but will concede they could challenge Niners for 1st if Niners suffer key injuries. Because the rams don’t care about brand (popular names) they care about who fits the team, culture and system. If mcvay sees a fit, he gives them a job to compete, like last year (turner, puka, young, etc) all rookies last year who made names of themselves, this rookie class will do the same under mcvays leadership if injuries don’t intervene
