It terms of performance, it seems like a 100 years ago. Top crossfitters improved so much in the last 5 years.

It definitely is about movement and techinque.

What would Rich have to do to compete at Olympic lifting internationally? Or would that be too much of a tall order?!

And they wouldn't be able to keep up on a single conditioning workout with any of these people. Yes they're stronger but their conditioning doesn't hold a candle on top of that strength.

Specialist can do amazing things that's for sure. personally I'm more impressed with well rounded athletes that are pretty damn good at all areas of fitness.

@@nicolaslofton4482 And this is from 6 years ago. The max lifts of Crossfitters has made huge jumps since them as well!

The Canadian is lifting like a chicken but still making those lifts, amazing. Toes turned inward, eyes are down in the starting position and he´s shaking around. This is years and years of wrong weightlifting training. Don´t get me wrong, respect that, he´s still making those lifts.

6:23-6:41 when the commentators don't have any clue what they are talking about. you can't do snatch or c&j well without good technique period. if it looks effortless that just points to consistent technique
@clayhamilton78843 жыл бұрын
No, It's common knowledge Rich bends his arms way early and pulls to soon, he always has. Not exactly great technique, but he makes it work. Coach B has talked about it before. Rich could lift even more with better technique. 305 with any flaws is impressive and what the announcers were referring to in my opinion.
