So beautiful. I remember seeing this in 1978, and then seeing in repeatedly on hbo...(and your hbo lead in brought back memories as well!!!) It's wonderful. It was at the same time as other INCREDIBLE HBO shows such as "Emmet Otters Jug Band Christmas, "Red skeltons "Freddie the Freeloader's Christmas Dinner", and Albert Finneys "Scrooge" being played on tv. Incredible memories. And I'll cherish them till I die. Thank you for posting. :)

My brothers and I watched this when it first came out on CBC in 1978 when I was 12 years old. CBC would do reruns every Christmas into the early 80's. We still do his impressions of the characters that he did from the show and remember the punch lines word for word.

Thanks for uploading. This was one of my favorites growing up. Unfortunately a lot of the celebrity characters Rich played are lost on my kids now but I still love the show.

So true. It'd be swell if an impressionist would update this using popular icons of today's culture.

This was awesome, As I commented on "Part 1", I remember renting this movie from the "Holiday Section" of my local "Network Video" when I was a kid. At first I couldn't really get into it, but now watching it in my late 20's, I thoroughly enjoyed this special. I though almost all of his impersonations were just spot on, and the comedy just worked. A great special for the holidays and old school comedy fans.

The idea that Dean Martin will be the bottle emptier makes me think that a profession and a skill had never been more compatible.

His impressions of Edith Bunker and Inspector Clouseau needed a little work,but the rest were all spot-on...great holiday viewing.

Even though the only female celebs he impersonated were Edith Bunker and Carol Channing, I bet he could pull off Phyllis Diller, or even Lucille Ball.
@Aethian11 жыл бұрын
I think he did do Phyllis Diller once.
