OP isn’t the Asshole in this situation. Their parents treated them like if they’re trashy, good-for-nothing nerd and they’re justified to post the crucial evidence to show people online and family relatives to exposed how much of the two are monsters. Anyone who says this story may be fake, I will be the first to validate the truth. Not cause I know OP personally, but the way he described how his parents behave, this is textbook narcissism. Blaming your own flesh and blood for your own careers not flying high, and then subject said child to emotional neglect, even if the circumstances differ, this is a script I know all too well. It is very easy to shirk responsibility and shift blame to someone else, especially someone without the means to defend themselves (such as children or the deceased), and narcissists always play this card whenever their crap gets called out. OP, my only advice is go for the jugular. Go scorched earth on your parents, cause nothing slaps down narcissists harder than dealing with the consequences of their actions, and having no power to resist. Asides from your aunt, go no contact with the rest of your family, cause it sounds like they have sniffed the same high as your parents, and it sounds like they are too far gone. If possible, I also say put some physical distance from your toxic family as well, unless you want to deal with this circus of flying monkeys brigading on you.

15:00 Go down the line sending each of them a number, counting how many times they sent the same message. So from their perspective they'd just see like "12" and be confused. Then they'd ask and you'd say you where counting how many times you got the same message.
@brianbarber540115 күн бұрын
If you try an apology defense to get out from under a defamation suit, you have to at least start by apologizing in the same venue with the same exposure as the defamation. Additionally, they need to do more than just apologize for eating those things, they’d need to publicly declare they were lies. Without that, there isn’t even a beginning of undoing the defamation.

I have a few questions. 1) why couldn't aunt adopt OP? it's not like the parents would've cared if she did since they saw him as a burden. 2) why would they be so angry at a "nerdy" son for being so smart? if my son was that smart, I would be proud because I'd know he would do something amazing with his life. 3) did no one else in the family, besides the aunt, think to check in on this kid during his childhood? every family member besides aunt failed OP by allowing these 2 nutjobs to tear him down all those years. OP doesn't owe them a damn thing for providing the basic needs for raising a child

@heyjohnson55354 ай бұрын
@@faithlesshound5621 wow turns out being a snowflake isnt just an American thing... obviously they exist in whatever country u hail from as well. If your kid is so entitled that they will go online and make u look like the worst parent ever after being raised by those parents every step of the way and not put up for adoption or worse. Yeah worse is possible by actual bad parents. There is actual bad parents out there addicted to drugs leaving their children to fend for themselves while living in squaler and filth. Or what about the ones that simply get up and leave simply to never look back. I was raised by my single father and i didnt expect anything outside of a meal and a place to sleep. He was my dad i loved him guess thats the difference. But the snowflake in the story didnt get their way so they wanted to tell the world how mistreated they were. Idk which story this was maybe the parents sucked but they def werent abusing their child by telling them if they want to go to school theyll have to pay for it themselves. Only time any parent is obligated to pay for a child in america is when its the father of child who doesnt take care of said child daily. Otherwise if it was a mother not paying child support they are permitted to rack of 120k in back owed support for 2 kids and only brought to light when my brother turned 18. She didnt pay for anything my entire life let alone college and to expect it would mean im some entitled dbag like the rest of u and i obviously wouldnt hold my dad in obligation to my college tuition after he raised me and my brother with out a dime of support from my mother since the day she left when i was 3 and my brother 5. So again enttitled is the word for someone who expects the world owes them for simply being born.
