I really enjoy watching your channel. I see so many parallels in your life to mine. I am a lot older but you remind me a lot of me LOL. One thing you may be a ware of but dont breath the dust off the perlite its really bad . I always try and water mine before I work around it if I can . It can cause a lung disorder .

Great video. I don't know if anyone's ever said this to you.. but it literally warms my heart watching you and Miranda together. You are just so lovely towards her. How you interact and how you speak to her or even just talk about her in other videos. Grown men should take an example out of you. And it seems to me like Miranda is much shyer than you when it comes to being on camera at least.. maybe she's a wild child off camera who knows lol.. but I love seeing her involved. I definitely encourage it. Go Miranda!

It looks like the hoop house is coming along nicely. Slow and steady wins the race. We love that you have made this a family oriented buisness. Their should be more parents like you and Maranda. The example you are setting for your children is outstanding. May the Good Lord keep sending blessing your way.

I think it's coming along. It tales about 3 years to see growth in any business. You and Miranda are living the dream to own a business. Keep pushing hard, that's what it takes. I hope the water situation works good this time. Raising those kids your way is awesome. The years roll by fast. Enjoy.

If you want to make your soil a little lighter and still hold nutrients I suggest trying biocharge it is merely lump charcoal grounded up put in your rich soil inoculate it for a few weeks and then you can use it to grow with but 10% of that is all you need in your soil I'm trying to help myself

I am also considering getting a beehive. I am looking into wax dipped hives. I have read they are more desirable to the bees and help to alleviate stress which helps increase productivity. Looking forward to learning more about bees with you guys

Man I love the helicopter airplane story. I figured that would have been a good income? but I guess not.. i was growing lantana in North Georgia and we get some intense summers and my lantana in a pretty big planter was looking bad, so i dug it up thinking it was root bound and it wasn't. I had rocks in it and the rocks was heating the soil up very intensely. It really surprised me, now I no longer use rocks anymore.. these rocks was what I've dug out of my yard.. your success will be all about your heart and desire, which seems very good.

It seems you have overhead irrigation? That will help a lot. Is your 'Heavy' soil, clay soil? Maybe you could do with solar panels to help cut the cost of the electric bills? Just suggestions.

Peat moss and perlite is a must in potting soil
@julieknowles70632 жыл бұрын
perlite or vermiculite. Please don't use peat. It releases so much carbon on extraction.

I don’t know if they are available near you or the cost but maybe a soil test may tell you what your soil needs or doesn’t need

I really enjoy your channel. I have a question. Why use plastic bag and not the cloth ones. I used the cloth ones for my veg . Are what u use better?
@EvelynM-vlogs2 жыл бұрын
The plastic bags were in the hoop house when they started renting it. They are making use of a pre-existing, left behind product.

@@EvelynM-vlogs good reason. I would have done the same, thanks.

Just a suggestion: when explaining things, stand still. Your videos seem to be moving a lot which makes me dizzy. Invest in a couple of tripods and let the camera stay in one place. Love your content and teaaching. You and Miranda are doing a great job and I look forward to following you and seeing your business grow. By the way, what is your name?
