What mindsets / habits keep people from making more money?
@nuvenusxm14 жыл бұрын
MJ I had the opportunity too be in a book awhile back but I was excluded for getting credit due too some B.S... So I understand this mindset of not giving someone a chance to break into a specific field... I believe in uplifting or opening doors when the opportunity is available... Sometimes YOU have to open your own door.

Tips: 1. Being a slow responder (show people you have reasonable sense of responsibility) (3 level response - level 3 (doesn’t require urgent attention 3 business day) -level 2 (requires attention but not fully urgent 2 business day) - level 1 (it’s urgent response in 1 day) 2. Being opportunity holding (Don’t be someone who doesn’t help others to succeed too- open the door for others too) (help others so others can help you too) (make yourself someone who has value) 3. Not being communicative (you need to communicate with people - let people know what’s going on) 4. Not having proper boundaries (when it comes to friendship and business... business is business// family is family) (Don’t mix business with relationships) (deal with people with proper boundaries) (deal with everyone in business like you are dealing with a boss at work) 5. Not taking responsibility (take responsibility as early as possible// get out of immature mindset) 6.being sloppy and careless for your work (people expect you to have high level of care in your products// you need to show every product, you have a very high level respect) 7. Being a BS (do not be someone who make statements/promise that you will not keep) (people need to know your word is your bond and you only say what you mean) “Speak what you say and mean what you say... do not make claims unless you have intention”

I heard a story once: when asked how he became so prosperous, the man responded: "I competed with God" people were perplexed and demanded further explanation. He said: he gave me, and I gave to others. The more he gave me, the more i gave to others. Eventually, he won!" When we reach to a certain place, we tend to forget all the coincidences which were opportinities offered by the anonymous hand of GOd. We all should help each other. There is plenty of everything. Life is not a race. 😇🙏

I've been watching your business tips a lot. At the previous job, I was in management and I'm a really hard worker, then later on other people got appointed and I felt out of place. Thanks to Corona a lot of us got laid off. I started to work in partnership, doing what I love, yet I still get people who try to bring me down saying my "dreams" are not "realistic" but I pay no mind to it and just move on. So Thank You Very Much MJ for all the tips❤

I remember getting job opportunities from other people. Once the person hung up, I was talking to the person given to contact. It wasn't the other person job to see if I followed up with a contact given or help with resume. The gift was them transfering information to me To this day, I follow the same thought process with other people when given information. How serious are you before investing time?

Being an opportunity hog and not communicating, both traits come from a scarcity mindset, usually with ill intent. Unfortunately, I dealt with people like this for years! Sooo toxic! And they behaved this way so that they could take credit for my work and money out of my pocket, nasty people. 😡

I would say your vocabulary and pronunciation can also cause you to lose money. Street slang is off-putting to those who don't know what the terms mean. Speaking like mumblecore rappers so that the listener can't even tell if you are even speaking English will have that potential customer exiting with a quickness.
@letrice28924 жыл бұрын
I agree i have a 15 yr old son and i dont allow any slang spoken in my household bcuz i dont want him to grow up thinking its suitable to speak like that especially as he enters the work force

Be careful with #2. Make sure they are ready for the opportunity and don't preemptively bring them into the picture. If they aren't ready it will hurt your reputation and the person after them. I'm all for paying it forward but sometimes those people just aren't willing to work for it or create those relationships. We know our paths started with a decision to take initiative. Can't do all the work for others unless...see my hourly fee 😏
@MrArtVein3 жыл бұрын
This was an L.A. contact too. I think once people are in the door there's kind of a proving period where they're too new to influence but good enough to be in the room. I was good enough to be in the room and worked on that influence for a year before I tried to bring on anyone, then I got briefly sick and my so called friend went behind my back trying to get in the room without me and messed it up for both of us. Name dropping in LA is career suicide. Next thing you know someone is tweeting JJ Abrams and Jordan Peele talking about MJ said they can get a role in Lovecraft Country season 2 and you gotta disown your baby daddy

I found your channel cuz I LOVE your energy... I want to sign up to sell for your company... it is soooo WIERD though because I feel like I manifested the most crazy feminine energy story EVER and I want to tell people but it is so hard. I am dyslexic and trying to write a book. Lol like a fish climbing a tree because I am extremely visual and verbal not a writer... anyway... I met this guy in Miami who lived in New York and it just seemed like the universe was fucking with me because I couldn’t get rid of him from my imagination until I told him my story (the process of doing so made me seem crazy and he blocked me)... anyway.:. I feel like I just stepped into the light of fully understanding myself and I am ready to turn it into cash... please god.. the broke side is educational but I am done with that school. (Please god)

So, how do you work around toxic co-workers, managers and administration. Its a loooong story, my manager plays favorites people call out i get to come in for extra $$$. (Im not mad about that because im getting overtime) but the gossiping and backstabbing. Gets old...i just fall back and watch it play out. At this point im really tired of these people amd want a change, and i am currently working on it. But in the meanwhile i have to hold on...but its VERY difficult. What do i do?
