African Tigress, the translation for "Blokos" is scrotum. The Suya seller may have perceived it as inappropriate to tell a woman the meaning of a cow's Blokos because of his Muslim faith. I would have preferred to eat that part of the cow meat if I was in your company and entourage. You are doing excellently well with your vlogs showcasing the people, sounds and lifestyles of Nigeria and the inhabitants. Well done, my girl. That's cap 😂, that was not what happened at all, lagos normally was oko, that was the name Yoruba people called it, it was our farm and a trade point for the Oyo empire, though it had settlers, the first settlers were Awori, then ijebu, egba, oyo, igbomina, Benin people fought against it and renamed it eko and turned it to a war camp, then the Oba seeked help with hinterland Yorubas, to defeat Benin, and decided to continue with eko, Benin Prince neve settled, in fact the bloodline of the Royal stool in lagos is from ijesha, the first oba wife was the one from Benin, then Benin is seen as one of us cos it's a Yoruba Kingdom 👍🏽 until now, Nigeria happened to us

@Lifewideview you are wrong, Naira appreciated from 160 to 138 and stayed so for a few years in the early 2000's. It can still appreciate significantly now (maybe not to 2022 levels)
@Lifewideview
@Lifewideview 2 күн бұрын
@@okiemute7744 we are saying the same thing.. early 2000 was when obj was President. Things were better then, refineries were working, GSM came into Nigeria, Nigeria’s debt was forgiven/Paid off.. Lots of exports going on and the interest and inflation rates were low. All these are why the Naira appreciated.. But what can make the Naira appreciate today?
@FreddyPateki
@FreddyPateki 2 күн бұрын
@@LifewideviewWhy would you say Naira can never appreciate? With the NNPC starting to pay Dangote in Naira for refined oil from this Ocober 2024 instead of dollars as it was done in September, that will definitely have an impact on the Naira value going forward, cos the huge dollars required over the years for fuel importation really added to weakening of the Naira.

This is Lagos, for Ghanaians it is not even the capital Lagos, so you people should stop comparing Ghana with Lagos state. Nigeria is way ahead of Ghana, the only problem we have in Nigeria is bad leaders, I know your government in Ghana is better when it comes to good educational infrastructure, good electricity, other than these two things I mentioned, in no other way can Ghana compare to Nigeria in terms of development…..I am saying the fact because I have lived in Ghana, Accra to be precisely and I also toured around Ghana……See Africa should respect Nigeria and Nigerians we are great people 😊
