I like the way the lady in corper uniform explained the religions in naija. She is very correct. In addition to Muslims, Christians, Igbe worshippers, and Rastafarians, there are also a lot of traditionalists, cultists, atheist and free-thinkers in naija.

@@spiron11 They are many in Nigeria. Pirate, Vikings, BlackAxe, Eye, etc. They meet in the night and have ways of greeting and do lots of sacrifices and killings. Some good percentage of Southern Nigerians are cultist. Some cultists also practice more than one religion.

You can't get any hotel that cheap for $25 in any African country's capital. The interior of the hotel and the price is like $100 or more in neighboring African countries Central Business District.

Almost every country would have an embassy in Nigeria because Nigeria has two capitals literally. Lagos the economic capital and former capital as well as Abuja the administrative capital. Hence, if an embassy is not in Abuja it would likely be in Lagos the former capital.

A. T, I think you'll enjoy a restaurant called "Today's Bukka" in Wuse 2, Lagos Bistro too and also if you like fish Ibru fish is good, as well as Mogadishu Barracks for barbecue fish and other food. There is a good Northern Nigerian restaurant called L&N Kitchen at 49 Kumasi Crescent in Wuse 2. On Saturday mornings there is keep fit at Jabi Lakeside. It is in the park area opposite Aura/Aldo where you were with Pat.

We had a chartered flight from Sal, which was a great relief because otherwise, I would have faced another grueling 26-hour journey back to the USA from Cape Verde. 🇨🇻 I also have some business to handle here, which is keeping me busy. Doing this period we also have international carnival were we have other countries from Africa and in Europe any part of world that wish to take part, it always fun fun in calabar, cross river state in December, I promise you, you not regret. The carnival started were back in 2004 by governor of the state then Mr Donald Duke.

Yes Abuja hotel is more affordable than any other African capital city, this government devalued naira, but naira still maintain his purchasing power to have value for buying things, of course fuel price is high making everything become expensive, but you can still take your lunch with #1,000 naira which is equivalent 0.35 dollar which is not up to $1.

For information purposes. In regards to the SIM card issue, MTN and other network providers have what we call Visitor’s SIM, that requires biometric and document to get it. You can get this SIM at MTN office at Lagos and Abuja international airport.

Don’t overthink it. Just book your hotel and fly to Abuja if you want a chilled, relaxed place, and Lagos if you want more activity and nightlife. Or you can hit both cities, which are just an hour or so away by flight. 😊
