why cant modern rally games make the misubishi sound? in real life it sounds very agressive but in the games it sounds so different, like the put on a whole new engine. This is the only game ive seen that perfects the sound

I dont play many simulators much anymore but to this day this remains the best. Funny enough did get PS2 iso to try on PCSX2 sometime ago just to see how it played with 50ghz and a controller, who masters that is a legend haha

Oh good gravy, I couldn't imagine playing a rally game with a PS2 controller. I mean I soldiered on back with Gran Turismo 3 and 4, but hey ho.

Very nice modding work! But the sounds are just muffled DiRT Rally sounds... you almost had me, i won't move from DiRT Rally (and DiRT4) + all older Colin Mcrae games to this one :P

if you have a steering wheel and a PC i highly recommend you try this game if you prefer realism over simcade like Dirt rally. In the beginning you will spin a lot but the key is to be really calm and drive 90% on the limit. Just like in real life. The game is free to download anyway.

Still one of the only racing sims to actually simulate full suspension movement and flex + engine torque etc.... (yeah look it up, what this game actually sims in terms of "parts of the car" is more than practically and racing game these days.....and this is from what ? 2004!?!?!?) I don't know why racing sims dont do this these days, they seem to be all about the "tires" & faking the rest to get to near realistic ? geeeze....

Surely the best rally game ever, as far as an overall sim it's almost a tie with assetto corsa but AC has a slight edge just because of the more advanced tire model. Though yes the suspension and chassis are extremely advanced in RBR, probably more so than most new sims. Have you tried both of them back-to-back?

You need to install RBRPro. It is a manager for rbr where u can dowload cars, add ons, etc. The game gets constant updates trought this manager

I understand your question, but the donation is only 15 euro for a lifetime! Personally i think the exlusive add ons and the way the manager works is defo worth it. You have to remember that all the exlusive mods for this manager are made by one person. You pay way more for iRacing monthly which is basically also a manager for a game from 2004. just my opinion

@@MotorVidz I respect your opinion and everything. But some people aren’t fortunate enough to live in a first world country, just like me. I’m from Lebanon and you definitely heard about our port’s explosion and our bad economy which is getting worse. 15€ is a weekly pay of my parents. So personally I’d rather eat with it than spend it on a free game. Rbr has multiple plugins and almost all of them are free, well all of them except pro of course. That’s why I think RSF or the basic CZ plugin are better than this. And about mod exclusivity, there’s loads of similar mods to what pro offers, and FREE. Sorry if this offended you or any pro supporter but life isn’t fair.

The game is from 2003 but remains extremely popular because of how amazing the driving feels, so this is quite a nice facelift when considering the age of the game
