I visited the house in 1999 while on honeymoon. The inside of the house was smaller than expected but lovely. Elizabeth was first person to have a walk in shower in Mexico as told by the guide

Rosie The Burtons bought two houses that where adjacent to each other. Later, to accommodate their family they connected both houses. When Richard Burton divorced Suzy Hunt, she got the home(s) in the divorce. At some point, the houses were disconnected, sold as two individual homes. So, the Taylor-Burton house had been quite large.

Those three children were Elizabeth's two sons and daughter, I'm sure she wasn't interested in being around reporters at the time. She was there to support Burton while he was filming Night Of The Iguana.

By then they’d lived there for while and yes she avoided reporters but had probably already gone in the house. My friend bought the house from her and I stayed there many times

Someone bought it and demolished most of the original. And painted the pink bridge white. Sad.

PV is destroyed now. They should have at least copied the tourism style of the Côte d’Azur to keep the integrity of the place. PV is a horrid place, devoid of beauty. I love this footage, thanks for posting

They were married with each other twice but the first time weren't they married in Montreal Canada? Here he was probably waiting for her to get ready just to go outside or for some other event, it always took her hours.

Absolutely true. They were already married by Night of the Iguana. 🦎

again drivel . They were already married . Burton bought Casa Kimberly after / during the filming Night the Iguana . It had been during the filming they landed in then relatively unknown Puerto Vallarta . . And they married long before that in Montreal . Their second wedding was in Botswana . Do this vids correctly or not at all .

I agree.

However, Burton bought Casa Kimberly for Elizabeth for 37,000 British. They weren't married at the time. He bought the house across the street and built a bridge across.

Why are they awaiting marriage? He and Elizabeth were married in Canada the first time, and Africa the second time.

The reference here if for Eastman Kodak 16mm film stock "NX" and "XX" or what? Whatever it is, footage looks like it was shot in 1903 or at best, 1913. How could any semi-professional cameraman end up with simple B&W footage this awful? Celluloid may have been damaged by heat, was inadvertently flashed on the spool when loaded to / unloaded from the camera , or else not properly developed and/or not developed right after exposure. Either way, this is just awful for anythingt done in 1963.
