Seeing that black number #3 car going around the track on the pace laps going 200 mph is truly awesome, what’s interesting is the fact that Richard Childress put in a different gear, so it did bump the chip a little bit but cleaned up nicely, but what a great video!! that’s a nice way to remember one of the greatest drivers of all time Rest In Peace to the Intimidator, truly a special experience, indeed!! 😎😎

Thank you Richard Childress. We all needed that im teared up right now writing this. I grew up in a house with my mom and sister and that was who i always looked up to. I never missed a raced. Some people call him superman. Naw he was just a normal person no super powers he rarely had the fastest car. Yall just never gave up and he drove every single lap like it was his last lap. Years went by and the new teams with faster cars and drivers came and went but there was one thing that never changed if you wanted in the top 3 in points you had to get past Dale Earnhardt

Man, that was awesome. Would've loved to have been there to see this LIVE. Wow, I'm sure everyone noticed how bad Johnny's hands were shaking. Wonder how his footage turned out, lol.

Honestly I come back to this video now and then just to close my eyes and hear it.... Takes me back to cranking a pioneer 7.1 surround sound system up in my living room every weekend and them cars shaking the walls. Ain't nothing like it. It's just pure.

Not a huge NASCAR guy, but for an owner to do this himself is pretty cool. Think about it: most owners are either above something like that or would have someone else do it. In this case, the man with the car title got in there and did it for the fans. Pretty special and sets a good leadership tone.
