I don’t get it...he had 1 hit movie, and many mediocre tv shows and movies...and the British media treat him as a national treasure.

I agree. Aside from Blackadder can't abide him and his type. Guardian reading toffs who bang on about being outraged on someone else's behalf while they chomp on their asparagus sandwiches in massive Georgian houses in the most affluent parts of London
