Everything from Pontiac Firebirds , Lincoln Continentals, Chevrolet, Ford Mustangs As well as British Rolls Royces yes even the original Rolls Royce Automatic Transmission before the GM400 took over its place and what a beautiful transmission that was,. Also specialized in Aston Martin, Jensen Interceptors, Jags from E Type, MKII to XJS. Absolutely love this show and may it continue.. In fact I even had to have the T Shirt.. Great show guys I am addicted to it :)

Robert Lee Aston, WWII B-24 Liberator Navigator who flew 35 combat missions over Nazi Occupied Europe with the 44th Bombardment Group, 67th Bombardment Squadron, with the 8th Air Force in England. My father met this gentleman a few times and had the honour to visit his old airfield with him, they became good friends from the 1980s until the day he passed away in 2013. I remember speaking to him on the phone a couple of times, and have a fantastic photo that he sent me of himself in his uniform during WW2 which he dedicated to me. I wish I had the opportunity to meet him! Mr. Aston also provided the granite from his mine for the memorial plaque which was located on the airfield control tower. It’s such a shame that they didn’t provide any of his background information on what he did all those years ago.

I met a man in Boise Idaho who had one of three cars hand built. It ran Indy and won and held a land speed record in 1938. He was a gunner on a B17 in WWII and was shot down over France. He parachuted out and landed in a farmers field in France. The farmer hid him from the germans for over three weeks till he was able to escape. When the germans were run out he got back to the farmer and bought the car for two months of food. He had the car dismantled and sent back to the states. I saw this car in 1979. All hand made and with the paperwork. I know that he planned on giving it to his 11 year old son when the kid was 21. I told him he could adopt me! I don't know what happened after that as I had met my then future wife and cars just weren't on my mind. 23 and dating a 18 year old. Who thinks of cars!!
