Hammond sold his to pay for the Smallest Cog, May has done several on his collection on Drivetribe, Clarkson isn't really a collector. He has some sort of fast Mercedes, a Range Rover, the MFB Continental from the Madagascar trip and The Excellent (the Mercedes 280 body on a Land Rover chassis).

I like this kind of video, cool idea. But I'd like to see a drivability aspect to the Cog score, just put Richard and Mike in the car with a gopro or two, and go around the town for 30 mins, find a nice route and cruise the car, find out if it has transmission/shift issues, brakes, Aircon is applicable, how the suspension is set up, takeoff, etc

Yep, headlight is the easiest thing to fix here. Somehow that Supra being a bit scuffed at gives certain character that it wasn't been babied and looks used alot, raced. But yeah would be nice to steel bring back the shine.

Thing that most shocked me about that Supra was when he put it on the dyno and how few horses it had lost in 28 years. Honestly, I couldn't think of a car I'd seen drop fewer for that age of car even taking into account it's fairly low mileage.

Seems more "intimate" being a 1 on 1 sit down, in Richards actual shop. That's BEING USED as a shop! Keep it less scripted, more natural, and just let 2 gear heads be just that.... Gear heads.

I love that Hammond was genuinely trying to understand the sim racing, it's like how my Dad is trying to understand controller gaming, he's trying but he just can't get his head around it, but he was very respectable about it with Jimmy and it was great seeing those two proper car guys who have also now done a lot of real life racing. I first laid eyes on the Supra Mk4 back in 1997 when my dad introduced me to Gran Turismo in his PS1. Supra Mk4 has been my love at first sight. Fast forward a few years, I saw my first Supra in a car show. Then The Fast and Furious came out. I lost it. Then I saw a bunch in real life since then. One night, a red widebody Supra overtook me on a highway, I'm doing 100kph and it overtook me like I was parked. It was followed by a Honda NSX. I have never been so happy being overtaken ❤ I came home that night smiling, surely a treasured memory. ❤ Supra Mk4 is still my dream car to this day.

Brings back memories. There was a silver Supra parking on my way to school in vienna, back in the 90s. And on the way home some friends and me were always standing around it and admire its beauty. It practically was a alien spaceship at that time, compared to the other cars on the street. It probably was my favorite car, until i played Midnight Club 2 and fell in love with one of the cars there and at that time i did not even knew that it was based on a real car, the Torque JX (aka Nissan Skyline R34).

If there's one car I absolutely adore, it's the Supra, which means above, this and the AE86 are cars that I really think the trio should look into more now that they have really grown a heritage, Jeremy appraised the gt86 as being the best coupé ever, and given the fact that Toyota rivaled the skyline with this monster, this car single-handedly resparked the tuning Community after Fast and Furious came out, which was a movie that was inspired by initial D, and yet to this day people still make fun of Toyota, this was only one of the Feats that Toyota invented, oh yeah I almost forgot to mention this was Toyota's first car with variable valve timeing so they could rival Honda, but if I were to list every single thing Toyota invented that people copy to this day, there would not be enough room in the comment section

Love this format. I had a MK 3 Supra, non-Turbo. It had MK IV wheels though, which was odd. I loved that car. Sold it way too cheap. This Supra is the perfect project car. Can't wait to see what happens with it. They are balanced so well 50/50 split.
