I reckon 'John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme' is at least as consistently funny as 'That Mitchell And Webb Sound' yet with just one writer; he really is a very inventive fellow.

Whilst Cabin Pressure is only the best sitcom ever made. Yes I know Fawlty Towers exists. No I wont change my opinion.

Ha! While I might not agree that it's the best ever (because Arrested Development and The Good Place exist) it is certainly right up there. One word to describe it. BRILLIANT!

Finnemore was on the writing team of Mitchell and Webb Sound before getting his own show.

Great rare visual interview with John Finnemore. All that talk about the Thomas Hardy thesis made me think of Chris Chibnall's work on Broadchurch. I hope John considers writing for the TV medium again as I know he has the scope and intelligence to draft out a brilliant script be it drama or comedy.

I would have loved to be sitting on the table next to John Finnemore and David Mitchell at the pub when they were writing soapbox.

Well he's been practically the same for decades and quite successful at it. So hurrah for immaturity... Though you don't star why you think this is so. Maybe he's just being himself.
