It makes me sad how humble Sue was when they pointed out the inferior work. You could tell that hurt her. She takes pride in her work.

100%… I wouldn’t be sad tho. She’s just very prideful and they understand how new employee can be bad. I’m sure it never happens for their upholstery business

For no more than Richard pays Sue, that's perfect and they sure as heck wasn't perfect from the factory cause I remember when I's a kid in the 60s and early 70s I paid attention to crap like that
@sussybaca72562 жыл бұрын
Lol I do auto upholstery. The guy that taught me would say if I messed up "remember there is an 8yo that sewed this seat up better than you." If I did a good job he would say "you can sew better then the 8yo that first did the seat." Another main thing he stressed is we are humans not machines we are never gonna be perfect we just have to do our best

I've got a Fairlane 500 two door hardtop, but it doesn't say Galaxy anywhere. I had read somewhere that the Galaxy was a mid-year name, or maybe it was the top step up trim level. Currently it is being a money pit. The paint and interior are good, but so far I have had to replace every brake line in the car. Absolutely no fluid would flow through them, so I replaced all of the hoses and metal lines. They still aren't working right, but I think that the problem is with the new dual master cylinder. I've also worked on the engine, and one of the rear wheel bearings may be going bad. Get the money shovel out!!
@TheKustom592 жыл бұрын
Fairlane and Custom 300 have the wrapped rear window, Galaxies have the almost flat rear glass and C pillars are wider.

Terrible when you have a business and some idiot totally lets you down. She must have been feeling really betrayed, I think it was bad of Richard to highlight this on his show, Sue doesn´t deserve to be dragged through the mud like this, shit happens but Richard should never have embarrassed her like this. Cheap points for Richard who I think is a great guy.

Aaron's wrong. If it is a 59, it could of been produced as early as 6/58. Leaving enough time in the 50s for Richards comment

To make sure stuff gets done. You don't wanna sit on a project for a year. That is storage space getting used. I work in auto upholstery for a shop that does restorations its easy for a car to take forever if you don't have a game plan and follow it

If any of this situation is actually unscripted, which I completely doubt, that interior screw up is actually Sue's fault. She has a client who sends her a ton of work, and instead of doing the job herself, gives it to "the new guy". Then she allows said work to be sent back to the client without so much as a quality inspection? Yeah, I'm calling bullshit on this entire situation. Absolutely scripted from start to finish.
@sussybaca72562 жыл бұрын
Yup definitely scripted. American love our drama. Watch "kitchen nightmares" with Gordon Ramsey. They have an American version and a British version the American version has way more drama
@meema8442 жыл бұрын
Devils advocate; why THE FUCK would you put the new guy on that kind of work? Is that not a failure of judgment on Sues part? Vs the (probably barely trained) dude she likely just tossed on it cuz she didn't wanna do it herself? I'm apprenticing as a mechanic and my mentor would NEVER let me work on an exhaust or transmission or whatever im untrained on, because I don't know what I'm doing lol. He knows its better to let me learn and get a few practice runs in so I at least have the first couple steps down before he just throws me on something and i fuck up someone else's car/waste time and money.
