How much would it take to restore a regular 1967 mustang? Not running and rusty find some between $1,000 to $3,000. Would it take 3x the amount of money to get it running?
@davidthayer69695 жыл бұрын
well that is a wide open question, first define RESTORE?......there are several levels, from just a daily driver that looks pretty good from a distance to 100% show car. Then it depends on the drive train. A 6 cylinder auto will be cheaper than a 390 4 spd.........if you do not care about originality, you can buy a Ford 289 long block for under $2K, a 390 will cost about $2500. Then another 2000 for a new starter, radiator, carb, ignition......if its an auto and you need the tranny rebuilt another 1500, then there are brakes, tires, so to get a dependable running car, BEFORE BODY and paint be prepared to spend $8 K minimum.
