Commentary is totally full opinion nowadays on sportscasting. They don't call the game like it should be and practically joke around with silly remarks not related to the game. TNT is a horrible commentated channel.

Being the Lakers, you're expected to have a winning season each year. Why can some franchises go continuously without a title? Nobody tells them anything.

The blame goes completely on the lakers management. You can’t put together a roster that was clearly not going to work even before the season started and expect to win. They fucked up when they didn’t keep all or most of the same guys that they won the championship. Guys like Caruso, Kuzma, javale, rondo, green, and even kcp were all the reasons they won that championship.

He could of done better. He had enough chances having great players, he just didn't play these athletes correctly. I'm glad he's out the door. Never give credit to the coach for the wins, the athletes are the real workers.

Jeanie Buss = clueless owner Nobody wants to say it in the media but I can. She let's her friend Linda Rambis make GM moves behind the scenes. She let Lebron play GM last off-season. Now when things go wrong...nobody is held accountable but Vogel. That is embarrassing and it's an issue when the team has no clear leadership

The firing of a head coach after he wins a championship two years prior was a poor decision. You had injuries, a poor performing trade in Westbrook and a very weak bench. Why is this Vogel's fault? I understand the non-competing games are highly embarrassing but the Lakers were not a good team.

Vogel made mistakes, but given the roster he was given, he had absolutely no margin for error. I don’t think any coach could’ve done more.

Let's say the Russ for Buddy and Brogdon trade does happen. Russ and Vogel were never really the problem. The problem was the roster construction. The problem is will AD stay healthy or not? He's missed 78 games as a Laker.

Had Vogel been a better coach, he would have not agreed with the trades to be made. It's all his fault. I do believe teams have to make a trade once in a while, but Vogel has lost his mind going through tough times. Let a new coach bring us luck and better years ahead. LeBron ,AD, and everyone else on the team will find the winning road again. I have great faith in that team and will always remain to do so.

That's why Ty Lue didn't come to the Lakers; he wanted the staff that he worked with. Roster construction by Pelinka has been horrible. Not going to blame him for the Westbrook trade, but he gave up so many good players last year for no reason.

It’s always funny when commentators are speaking negatively on players ESPN starts to shows clips of players missing shots and committing turnovers etc… They do it for all sports too. If it’s a positive take then it’s dunks or touchdowns, home runs … 😂 Helps paint the narrative I guess… visually.

Vogel didn’t play Reaves in the most important game of the season and started Bradley over Monk for who know why. Was starting Deandre Jordan.. Vogel had to go. Should have been done more professionally though.

The Lakers had two choices, either fire the GM/Coach who can drop 30 every night or fire the coach who's always on the bench.Lebron is using an entire franchise to build his legacy which to me is a bigger problem for the Lakers than Russ or a new coach.

If that lineup of Lonzo, Ingram, etc we're so good, why didn't they avg more than likely 10 points a game? That's why they were traded.And of course, LeBron is blamed. Players put all the pressure on the one man show. You don't think that lineup wasn't money hungry either? The Lakers were up to their necks in having to pay these players.

Hard for any coaches to lead a bunch of self serving super stars who are too old and precious to grind it out against tough opponents. You can see in a lot of games, they simply gave up so coach had to plug-in other guys on the fly to salvage the game.
