it was a blessing in disguise that richards character died in season 3. He was a part of the show when it was in its prime, nailed the character, and his death scene was one of the most memorable and talked about scenes in tv history. Then moved on to bigger and better things while everyone else is stuck to a show that went down hill for the next 5 years. Good on Richard for making the most of it tbh. Bodyguard was my favourite show from the last year

Outside the Game of Thrones universe not many people recognise the other young actors as 'great actors', Richard Madden is now on another league. Richard Madden has also been in Rocketman (Oscar nominated), 1917 (Oscar winner film), recently the protagonist in Eternals, also in Medici, a fabulous miniseries, much better written than Game of Thrones prodiced for a more sophisticated audience. Richard is the protagonist in season 1 and the executive producer of the later seasons. Dustin Hoffman and Sean Bean are also in Medici. This is just to mention some of his works. Those who believe that Game of Thrones was the best job someone could aspire for have no idea of what is considered true success in Hollywood. Richard Madden is currently the most successful of the young actors of Game of Thrones. Again, that is a fact.
