Very good interview, very factual, the interviewer allows dickie to open up and let him have all the attention. Spot on, this is how interviews should be ❤❤

Nice to hear Richard talk about Shocky without hating on it. Go easy on the interviewer, guys… anyhow, love that bit at 14:51. Thanks for posting this.

Blimey, that interviewer was so stiff - doesn't roll with anything, doesn't show any emotional response to anything... I would think an interviewer who could 'connect' to his guest would've been a better choice.

I find it only made the experience that much more memorable and the Interview much more interesting. There were some questions earlier in his personal life about going to a restaurant. While it did explain a bit of his character I feel that It might have been a bit prying and perhaps Mr. O'Brien felt since asked about his less formal side would demonstrate some of that. I think the interviewer needed to relax a bit more. He seemed stern and O'Brien looks like he's almost studying his uptight demeanor. Regardless he was obviously just having some fun with the interviewer trying to perhaps give him a bit of Shock Treatment so to speak.

He did. It was called Shock Treatment. Different actors played them. Wasn't as good as Rocky Horror.

it was 1981, what you await? Richard did a very good job, I love it for 30 years, and his voice is a dream,. but the interviewer is a non humour sleeping pill

Riff Raff😹 he probably just wanted to see if he would react to anything, clearly he doesn't 💙 he didn't want the interview to be deemed boring♤ at least, through no fault of his own 💕

This film should’ve been delayed, they should’ve gone with the original vision of shooting it out in a town in America. Limitations ruined it because the actors strike.
