I’m 12, this book is far better then any other books I like to read. Mostly I like sad and heartbreaking stuff but those always take me a while to recover from. Books I like are fast pass and nice, this one is better for my age then the books I read that say their 18+. It’s not like my normal heart breaking stories, this one is sad but it’s fun! I think this book is better for me a 12 year old then stuff like no longer human and the silent one.

I enjoyed watching this. It is so neat that Richard wanted to bring a story that would be empowering to teens and kids. Todays books for this age group are darker and have themes that seemed to flood their spirits with negativity and ulitmately shadow the good in people. This series a great way for kids and adults to enjoy and discuss literature together. My kids and I loved it! RPE, you never, ever disappoint!! :-)

i have a distorter that makes reading hard for me, i usually have to read a page multiple times till i actually understand it. Not once did i have to re-read a page.I first understood it, second i enjoyed reading it. I normally don't like to read because i know it will take me months and i still wont understand it. This book is my favorite, i at least read it 50 times, and plan to keep reading it.

I got the book and I LOVE IT! I cant wait till the new one comes out. But Michael Vey is now my favorite book. I read it probably 15 times. But I say anyone should get it, its a great book and a great author. =)

I don't believe they are making a movie. The trailers on the website are trailers for the book. I Agree with you both though; I just hate the wait between books. 3 days after the second book was released I had already read it... Its torture waiting for the third

Don't know what sort of crappy writing you prefer to read, but I have read every single one of RPE's books and have yet to find one poorly written. Being so many of them certainly some stories are better than others, or at least they appeal to different people. But writing is solid. Can't claim multiple interactions with RPE, but nothing other than your comment here makes me think poorly of him.
