Beautiful collection, I hope provisions are made keep the collection together. When the Reno car collection was broken up the shops shut down it was a very sad day. I love those brakes on the Petty Mustang. My brother had a perfect ''64 Mustang, he kept it in pristine condition but the jackass smelled a new F -250 smell and traded it in. I'm sure an hour later when the truck got a scape, flat tire, or the new truck smell faded away, he raced to the Ford dealer to be told that the owner bought his Mustang, 10 minutes after he sold it. I was 2 or 3 at the time, or I would have tackled him had he tried to pull the stunt. Our brother in law's dad owned a storage locker place and collected classic fire engines. He told my brother that he could have it wrapped, oil and gas drained, tires off and store it for as long as he wanted when it was clear that a '64 was going to be a collectible, but he stalled and stalled until on impulse he sold it. Today the price of a cherry '64 that is original is off the charts, you can't find one. The Petty Mustang looks more than an early Dodge muscle car that you couldn't give away in the mid-70's will gas shortages and 55 mph limits. I like it, but simple elegance has made Apple the biggest tech company n the world. Simple elegance is another name for the early Mustang.

I had a thing for Petty blue back then (and still do lol) and I paid more attention to Strip Weathers (yes that’s his name in the movie) and growing older I learned a bit more about the history he made and since then he and his late wife have both been an inspiration to me. The way they loved eachother until the very end makes me believe in true undying love. What he does to give back to the community especially with victory junction makes me so happy. I can go on and on about how much he inspires me but it’s pretty clear I’ve written a huge comment here and no one will probably read the whole thing :P but anyways.
