If you listen to all of his acts, you'll see that he imitates the pastor, he imitates the local wino, he also imitates Mudbone, who was a real life person. So you say all of these new comedians copy him, but guess what, he is also copying somebody. He just happened to start his career at the right time in entertainment history.
