yes but may i add if you are able to place yourself infront of the wr you are not obligated to move to the side. If he wants to run through your chest past 5 you are in every right to hold your ground. If hands are seen used aggressively you will still get a penalty thats the only thing he did wrong on a couple of those where he was flagged.

a lot of these guys at the beginning aren't even attacking his leverage or giving him anything to at least bite on off the line. not attacking his leverage so much as just speed releasing off the line

This tape is great on what not to do in man to man technique. Sherman is a terrible man to man corner. Top 1% in zone though. If you want a good tape for man to man press, watch revis. You want good tape for off man to man, watch Asante Samual

Sir..... Sherman played predominantly Cover 1 which is man coverage and was a perennial Pro Bowler doing so up and until tearing his Achilles’ tendon

not really... most of the reps he lost were to a guy named terrell owens lol. 1ons are literally built for recievers to win too, zero help but all day to throw. revis lost just as many reps in his training camp 1on video
