Richard Simmons: The house he Died in and His Gravesite.
We go to the house that Richard Simmons lived in for many years until he passed away. We also go to Richard Simmons' gravesite to pay my respect. Richard Simmons was such a positive force in the world and was one of the funnest fitness guru, my mom loved him. There will never be another person like R. Simmons.

He was one of the kindest people I ever met. My mother and I met him in Cherokee, NC, got to exercise with him, sit and chat with him, and he even gave me a kiss on the cheek and a picture and autograph. When our home burned down a few years later, I lost my picture and was so upset. He sent me a new one with a very nice personal message. He will be missed. Thank you for the nice video. 😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐

He was an awesome person who loved hearing from people and personally answering letters. That's what he did all day when he was at home. He lived to encourage people and truly loved everyone he came in contact with. I had a personal letter from him also when I wrote to him in the 90s. Now that I am in my 50s I had just recently started using his videos (on YT) again. He left a legacy of love and simple instructions on how to take care of ourselves. Xoxo

Richard fell in love with that house when he saw it, an old lady owned it and Richard kept after her to sell, she finally agreed around 82' and Richard bought the house for less than $700,000. Wow he got a good deal on that house. And I was going to bring up the vehicle but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, considering he just passed away. Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. He was such a bright star in this dark world. His attitude and personality was so addictive. I wish he didn't go into hiding the years before his death because he was such a loving person. Rest in Peace Richard, we will truly miss you.

Yes I wish we could have had more of his positivity before he passed away. On the one hand I wish you would have continued to spread the positivity but on the other hand he deserved his retirement. Thanks for watching

I always liked him. I was so sorry to hear that he had died. The cemetery seems very serene. It just seems like he should’ve been here with us longer. May he rest in peace.

He gave so much to others and he decided to live in peace and take care of himself. He made a decision to not have another knee surgery and decided to limit his work so he would not tax his good knee. It is a shame that his knee surgery was difficult for him. Many people do well but he did not and he accepted it. There is nothing wrong with being a homebody. I also read once that he was a catholic and prayerful. I admired RS. RIP

Richard was such a sweet and giving person. He always thought of others, and he finally decided to just be private, and take care of himself. I do not blame him, everyone deserves privacy, and to do what they want to. His mental and physical health are/were important. Richard, just seemed like a friend, and when he passed, it felt like a big part was lost. Thank you, for posting this video, and for being so respectful of his, and his family’s privacy.

I was working a full time 8-5 job in the 1980's, 1990's, 2000's. Back in the 1980's when he was on tv if I was off work for a holiday I would watch his show. I did buy some of his videos. I thought he was fun. He was very popular in the 1980's with many of my friends. So sorry to hear of his passing.

This video of Remembrance of the Vivacious Richard, was absolutely Beautiful, & sooo respectfully done!!!🥰im sure his days as the overweight schoolboy had lots to do with his Amazing Public Court Jester Performances, that helped countless people live a better a life, beyond just weight concerns. From all I knew, he had a true heart of gold, & was actually a bit of a shy man, with equal parts of passion and compassion. Clowns always have to remove their face paints, & ditch their crazy clothes & shoes, & most are Never who they are in full makeup!!! Richard was Everything we saw, just quieter out of his. RIP Sweet Gentle Soul🥰🙏
