I miss him too. He says he is doing well, but his fans would love to see for themselves he is truly OK and happy. My mother and I saw him in person in the 90’s. It was so much fun. I am 53 now and think it’s time to let him inspire me to take care of myself. That message is still out there for us. I think that would make him happy.

Richard Simmons is such a quality person. A heart of gold that truly and genuinely cares about other people, wanting only the best for them in life. We love you, Richard. You’re a special person that the world needs more of. If you think about it, all those other fitness instructors at the time had hard body models for backup dancers…and Richard had regular folks on the set to workout and people could relate.
