With such an upbeat and energetic persona in the public eye for so many years, there had to be a lot of pressure on Richard Simmons as his body began to fail him. It's sad that he's gone.
@derekjolly36802 ай бұрын
I get the impression that he was rarely actually fit, and was always kind of a chubby. I think that's because at the drop of a hat, based on what I've heard him for quotes, he'd start in with binging deserts or pastries, or whatever. You'd never actually see him with a tucked in shirt. It was always kind of loose fitting stuff he'd wear. But even for loose fitting clothes you can generally tell if a guy is lean or not. I'm thinking his eating habits eventually kind of brought him down. Probably hurting his leg was more effect not cause. Lots of concealing going on with all this, thus the speculating.

No speculation, when clearly there's a lack of answers and probably concealment of the facts? None of what I said above is unreasonable. Just because I make reasonable assertions doesn't mean I don't see the good in someone either. He's not my hero or anything like that, but I don't claim he didn't do any good for some people.
