Amen, sister! You know I come from Spain, and I worked for a couple of years as a research fellow at Indiana University. I joined the African American Choral Ensemble (no kidding, and I was not the only white European there). It was an amazing experience from the musical, personal, and spiritual points of view. We sang this song. By the end of the performance I could see some of the tenors crying. Peace!

At 2:38 when the full choir goes into "Oh Lord," is that a split in the tenor parts? I hear the altos and a note just under the alto note and then a lower note. Or is it just me?
