Wow - a rare treat to see this. You asked for titles on one of the other videos - this is Sloth. It's an old Fairport song that used to feature a long electric guitar workout from RT.

I still vividly remember the massive standing ovation for Swarb at Martin Carthy's 60th birthday concert in Oxford in 2001. No one had seen him perform for ages. He was in a wheelchair, on an oxygen cylinder (it was before his lung transplants). Yet the music was still all right there with him from the first note played. I admit, I was in bits at the end of their duet. Finding it really hard this week to grasp that he's gone. Let's hope there's a really good new anthology quite soon. The Free Reed set of a few years back is wonderful, but Swarb went on to make more yet more great stuff after it came out. And is someone going to produce a book about him? Please!

Robin Hughes Saw him a couple of years before he went, in Worcester with Martin. He was swinging a pint of something , and he winked at me and said “Water, how the mighty have fallen!” God, I’ll miss him.

2wayplebyney; a version of Fairport that did not include Sandy Denny originally recorded this on Full House; she did return later to the group briefly, and probably played on some live recordings,
