Sadly they think they do. I believe Richard Ashcroft will know the truth about this and this song is far deeper than it appears to be here. However, despite their legalese and smoke and mirrors we are sovereign living breathing men & women, and as such can be owned by no other man/woman or corporation..

Am still astounded by his Stafford V festival performance, after The Verve split. That massive crowd just stood and listened to his whole performance, without moving a muscle; while he sang the hits without moving from the spot he stood on. Not one person seemed to move in that whole venue, till the end - when the whole crowd erupted in a thunderous acclamation of appreciation, of a magnitude I have never seen or heard before. I have seen hundreds of bands in venues and festivals, but the applause and cheers at the end of his set has never been matched. I love this new track of his and can't wait to hear him live again

I do remember singing with the crowd and him accompanying us with his guitar and orchestra. Upon asking for a new song, I sang “is true what they say, nothing in life is free. Well that seems so absurd, how can that be? I think I told you before, they don’t own you” and then the crowd joined in.. We let him have the lyric to use in his new material and we told him to run or walk with the song, before singing “You gotta roll with it” at the top of our lungs. He has made a great track here and the video, his haircut and style are fabulous. Big hugs Richard, I cried so much when you sang your last song.

Beautiful scenery ! Riding free in the lovely countryside !! Awesome. Laying in a field, bathing in the energy of nature. Excellent ! It is called "grounding". Everyone should do it !

I have subscribed and shared this video to show support for Richard Ashcroft, who refused to perform at a festival that required its attendees to be vaccinated. (Thanks to Sanity4Sweden who brought me here.)
