Hi Richard that was fantastic vlog all those Buzzards in one place, I’ve never seen so many in place the footage you got was truly remarkable, they are a fabulous bird to watch 23 Buzzards in one place wow, I know i said it earlier but that footage was amazing and photos were truly stunning, eight hours in the hide has really paid off well done for producing a fantastic video and thank you for sharing it with us truly amazing Richard.all the best Martyn p.s can’t wait for the review of R3 😀

Cheers Craig, it was incredible to see so many and at such close range! I learnt a lot about Buzzard behavior that day, which is always a massive bonus, just to sit and watch things unfold in front of you is superb. Sorry to say, but these are not Buzzards, otherwise known as Vultures. Those are Hawks, I'm sure. Do the English call Hawks Buzzard ? LarryMac
@RichardBirchett2 жыл бұрын
Hi Larry, we call them Buzzards as they are the Buteo race, the only Hawks we have in the UK are SparrowHawk and Goshawk. The word buteo is Latin for a buzzard and it should not be confused with the Turkey vulture, which is sometimes called a buzzard in American English. The Buteo species of Eurasia and Africa are usually commonly referred to as "buzzards" while those in the Americas are called hawks. Hope that helps all the best R 👍
