My hypothesis about Mary is that the experience of red is in the context of the visual cortex interacting with other areas of the brain, areas that give redness the meaning it has. In my view mary would come to understand what colors are even not having experienced them.

What is conciousness? "subjective experience"
@uninspired35834 ай бұрын
Fair enough, but I think we're trying to figure out how it comes about

The theory and experimental method that the Darwin automata are based on is the way to a conscious machine.

Is there a conciousness without motive and thus a conciousness that places no value on duration between lack and its resolution or temporal markers like expectation absolutley not being all knowing. To be all knowing suggests a state unavailable to conciousness

Phenomenal concepts need phenomenon - but this is a phenomenal conciousness versus another type of conciousness seems interesting seems like human conciousness is biasing thought about conciousness

the answer to "What Creates Consciousness?" is: brain cells.

Why brain cells? What's so special about them?
@phasor504 ай бұрын
@@clashmanthethird they create consciousness

Wouldnt conceptual framework rely on objective subjective stucture could their just be a subjective conciousness and vice versa of course how about a purely subjective non phenomenal conciousness

Someone convince me that a brain can be concious without a psyche, a brain doesnt just predict, why as a brain would it? It depends on what it is braining for. I have "done" or my brain has turned to, things with my brain that i did not control in which i was concious and not motivated.

Most of what the brain does is not actually about consciousness. It's taking measurements of the body, tracking relative positions, regulating cardio and gestational functions, processing perceptions. The brain isn't a consciousness machine, consciousness is just one of the many functions it carries out.
