Also, taking a picture of something the ghost interacted with gives extra money as well. As long as the EMF reader is going off (and you know what it interacted with), it'll give you money. Once the EMF stops going off, taking a picture of what it interacted with at that current moment won't give money.

I honestly believe that the EMF reader can detect the ghost itself as well because I've had EMF 5s just appear right in my face with zero evidence of interactions, no doors being opened, nothing being thrown or moved around, just BOOM EMF 5 nerd! Which I tend to respond with immediately getting out of the house to get the other pieces of equipment as well as to calm my nerves. I still remember going into the kitchen/dining room of Tanglewood with the reader out and I point it towards the dining room area with no reading, go through the entire kitchen while also checking the water with the same results as well as no dirty water and when I go towards the dining room the reader spikes straight to EMF 5.

Could you do a video clarifying how to survive during a hunt please? A lot of people in public argue about being quiet, turning torch off, whether closets/lockers are good or bad, bother closing door or not etc. Next time I see someone run into the farmhouse attic on a hunt I’m uninstalling.

The BASIC for surviving a Hunt stage: As soon the signals appear (Flashing lights and flashlights, exit doors locking (if they are open and suddenly shut close while lights are flashing)), MOVE TO a ROOM or closet/Cabinet and close the doors in your path, aside the Wraith, all ghosts HAVE to use doors like players. Getting clues early to narrow your suspect ghost type is KEY to better survive the Hunt. Wraiths WILL ignore doors and walls, meaning his chosen prey MUST try to get as much distance as possible, or bait it into stepping on salt, which will forcibly end that hunt (and piss it off, meaning more activity), Banshees focus on ONE player inside the house, so the team knowing who's being focused helps them track and help the focused player; Revenants will kill whoever they find, so HIDING is a must, Jinns use light to power their ability, turning the breaker off will deny it his ability.... To block hunts, finding the ghost room and setting the two crucifixes can help block hunts for a while, but be aware that if the ghot is a ROAMER (such as Yurei and Phantom at times), this isn't a foolproof way, and even the types to remain in their room may not start hunts there (Jinns for example) Smudge sticks are great tools to delay hunts from starting, Spirits are the most affected, being made unable to start a hunt for 180 seconds, Yureis can be made unable from leaving a room if you hit it with the smidge stick effect inside a room (not a hallway) while also delaying hunts for 90 seconds. The Points: Hunt starting, find a room and hide, if a locker or Cabinet is available, use them The earlier you narrow your ghost, the easier it becomes to survive a hunt ALWAYS keep crucifixes in the inventory and deploy them in the ghost room in the best way possible to cover the most area Delaying hunts is the better bet than surviving one, so Crucifix and Smudge sticks are your greatest tools Leave salt piles in hallways if your suspect ghost is a wraith, hunts can be ended earlier if your team is lucky enough to have it step in one

@@DiamondPenguinGG, i EXPLAINED that Read better before critique Wraiths ignore DOORS AND WALLS for spotting and moving around, but understand that AI pathfinding is limited, meaning wraiths will usually use doors as entry points but that they are regulated to NOT be bothered by them for hunting, making hiding a rough time

@@ichidamitsunari1650 You gotta break line of sight before hiding in a closet, if the ghost is right next to you seeing you go in that closet before it starts its hunt it'll just open the closet and kill you. Some ghosts also see directly through doors so closets arent your best bet, a room that isnt the ghost room is your best bet. Hiding in the ghost room is basically suicide

Two temperature readers and two EMF readers are a must for any mission. Personally if there's a need to split into teams of two, one temperature reader and one EMF reader per team is the way to go. Personally I don't recommend splitting up into solos even if it does cover a bit more ground.

I went to a grave site in canton michigan with my emf and started receiving 3-5 spikes. Then I started asking questions and it would fluctuate. I wasn't holding the thing either. I laid it ontop the tomb stone. Know one was there just me and it was about 2-4pm. The grave site that sparked the most response was at a name called Truesdell. Dated 1890-1906 the name was emma.

Using ouija board make sure have a open EMF next to it, it's easy to tell the ghost if have EMF lvl 5 or 2 I did that all the time and it never fail me....

So, I did a map where the ghost turned out to be a revenant, but the emf wouldn't go above 4 even during a hunt. Any idea why?

I had a professional Banshee literally standing on my character and only give us a EMF 4. I don't know if I just suck at getting readings but I can never get the EMF to work.

EMF 5 MUST BE 5. You cant really count a reading of 4 or less as a Banshee or Oni. Some ghosts will only trigger a max reading of 3 or 4 giving a false reading.
