LOL yeah I watch Richard's videos where he's Creek fishing for bass and other than the fact that I have an aversion to using live bait to catch a bass it's like I can sell my nitro all my stuff the thousands and thousands of dollars worth of rods and reels and line and lures and soft plastics and moved to Alabama and start fishing those Creeks I can catch more small mouth and big spotted bass there than I can't hear in Kansas lol

I went creek fishing yesterday and had a blast. Like you, we haven't had any rain in a couple weeks so the creek was low and clear.I used a light spinning reel and limber 6 foot rod. I caught about a dozen fish in three hours and I was wore out. Lot of fun, reminds me of when I was a kid. Keep up the good work.

Have to say thank you Mr Gene and Mr Elmo. I have been used to going out on the Missouri which has been flooded and catching giants. Watching your videos has gotten my to to go back to Bass and Crappie. Though It was 93 today and everyone at the bait shop complaining about the lack of crappie I got me a nice stringer for some sandwiches. Tight lines Gentlemen.

Well Richard Gene that "No Name Creek" produced really well. Ultra lite gear, two pound test line and hang on. Caught Gills, Black Bass and Catfish. And a bunch of excercise. Great VID and tnx for going to the trouble to make it. We apprec it.

Right-on, I love UL fishing. Small streams,and creeks seem to hold some great fish. So much fun on light line. I use 8# test line my self. That may seem like too much, tho some times ya just need extra test. Snags,rocks,and sometimes "big fish" do happen. Still I use A UL outfit . A 2500 SSVI Penn, & 420 SS Penn reels with a 4"lite action rod. ( Berkley). Congrats on yer catch of those nice bass on 2# test line. Keep the "Creek videos coming" there great too see. Tom, DB,FLA.

Love you brother, your videos make my day. I love creek fishing, the peacefulness and tranquility of a creek is unbeatable. These other guys can have their overcrowded, loud lakes, and even the rivers are a bit to much for me these days. Its not about the size of the fish, its about getting out there and enjoying nature, I'll catch small fish all day along with a nice little surprise lunker from these creeks ever now and then. Every day is a good day when you fish ;)

I grew up creek fishing and still my most enjoyable way to fish. Nothing funnier than wad fishing a creek. Just have to watch out for Mr no shoulders...lol

We have alot of creeks like that around here, namely natural dam and the begining s of clear and Lee creeks great fishing with ultra light stuff. Tons of smaller smallmouth, bream, warmouth, Kentucky spots, and occasional largemouth. Can catch 100+ a day back to back. So much fun. Have heard of people catching big cats out of the deeper pools but never had luck myself.
