BTW as rule to anyone new to cast nets.... don't loop your cast net end so that it can synch on your wrist. Even though the chance is low, if you get hung up, you may get dragged off your boat. Just put your hand through the loop. Stay safe!

Thanks, Richard, for another very good video. You're right, when you fish the bottom with cut bait, blood bait or anything similar, you're going to get something, usually a catfish. And if it is, no telling which species. I really don't know which I like to take the grandkids fishing for, crappie or catfish. Either is a blast with or without kids.
