Richard here's one more guy that you've taught how to catch crappie (and lots of bass on accident). I just started chasing them in May of this year and have consistently caught 3-4 keepers every outing throughout the summer. My sincerest thanks to you for passing on your wisdom. Let's catch another one!

Another good day of fishin. Them old rainy days when the lightning ain't popping are the best days to be out there. You are correct in the slow presentation Richard. Them fish are hot and sluggish. Got to literally feed it to em. I caint wait til it cools down into the 60s. The water that is. They just taste better . GOD bless you and yours and remember....keep slangin and keep hangin.

Love to just watch your fishing show, I would like to tell how I catch loads of bluegills and crappie using A JIG AND PIG. What it is is using a small shinning lure and a piece bacon, cutting up only the fat part of some very cheap sugar smoke bacon, the thin slice type.

I've had them bite so light they just inhaled them and sat there.Had to use a float and the ones I use show every little thing goin on,up,down, sideways, but this time I had to trim the top of it off so it stuck out the water only about 1/8" and when you seen it become level with the water set the hook.Caught 8 dozen that day,but they were all 6-10".

I always mean to go crappie fishing and bring a Coleman lantern because it seems to help bring them in. But by the time I see some action my catfish rods are bending. I always want to catch a crappie but tend to only catch them by accident.
