I use to fish with a 7 inch leader with a baitholder hook tied to main line with a split shot. Then a 7 inch leader with a baitholder hook tied to main line with a bobber and a drop shot and a crappie jig. I use 4 rigs and catch a ton of fish. A wakebait kvd splash and buzzbait in the summer June and July and that's it. Keep it simple. 😊❤ that's 7 set ups I use to catch fish. After 6 casts with no bites I change rigs. 😊

Another great video, Richard. Really nice catfish. Your right about the heat, here in North Central Texas it's been running 102 to 107 all around the area. Thanks for the info on an easy way to tie a hook using a knotless snell knot. I could probably use the tying set up to tie my own baitholder hooks with a 7 inch leader. Long as i make leader at least 12 inches to start to tie knotless snell knot. 😊
