There are a lot of KZbin crappie channels and I'm building one of my own. But let's be honest Richard Gene the fishing machine is the best to ever do it!

I’m 41 and back in the early 90s I can remember watching Bill Dance and other Fishing Shows that’d come on TV. I grew up on a lake and I fished for Whitepearch just about every day. I sat around and watched your videos Saturday and it felt like stepping back in time watch them fishing shows. I’d also like to say your a very good fisherman. Great Channel and educational.
@budgarner3522 Жыл бұрын
You're right Gene, anyone can fish. Some of us just catch fewer fish or even nothing. A bad day of fishing is a good time in the outdoors. You and Bill Dance need to do some sort of a joint benefit raffle where the winner gets a day with the two of you!
@robertmartin5662 Жыл бұрын
Richard. You make crappie fishing look easy. You are one of the best crappie fisherman I’ve ever seen. In all my years of fishing. I will never be as good as you. I would have loved to meet you, and fish with you. There’s not many of your videos I have missed. Live in illinois. And keep your videos coming. Thanks again Richard for sharing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. It was worth it for two reasons, besides the beautiful crappie you were catching. One, was the log scrapping against you boat and seeing your reaction, priceless. The second, for the time you took to enjoy your surroundings, a gift that we should all enjoy as we fish. God Bless, and keep up the videos.

Sir, iv watched a many of different fishing channels on KZbin, learned a lot, but I believe iv learned the most right here. One of the most important things you seem to do exceptionally differently is that you fish THE DAY I used to get stuck in the typical pattern of whichever season using the few tried and trues when though you apply that as well you also show you can often find more fish by fishing the exact conditions of the day not the season if that makes sense. Clearly this is known well by many across the board but I wanted to thank you for I learned it here and apply so much of what you show on here with success. Your awesome!

Two types of anglers,especially crappie anglers are the oh so silent assassins that seem to just kill it whenever, wherever they fish AND every now and again you’ll have an Iconic fisherman known to many others that share ALL with you sometimes IF we just simply greet one another and just enjoy this good earth that God give us all to share life together and learn from one another and help one another and simply be kind to one another. God bless all watching, reading comments and absolutely 100% just are enjoying good content! Richard Gene The Fishing Machine…an American Icon? I’d say an icon for the whole planet earth!

I bet that little bit of vibration makes them hit it harder because they think it’s trying to escape… Kinda like if a bass swipes at a bait and misses you can kinda jerk it away a couple times quickly and they’ll hammer it… It’s a predator reflex type of strike. Great video Elmer, that’s very interesting. Make us a catfishing video soon please… Love ya man! Wooooooo I noticed you were heading backwards pretty quick but I figured you knew… You better look out fer sac squatch now Elmer… He’ll grab you boy…😆🤣
